No turn signals but flashers work... 200

So I checked the archive posts and did everything that people said to do. First thing first I get in my car to go to the store and my turn signals do not work. The flasher relay located in a side panel in front of the passenger seat just has a buzz sound. So I check fuses number 5 and 9 and they seem to still look brand new. Next I run down to the stealer and buy an oem flasher and that made the same buzzing sound like the autozone flasher I just bought. Next I tried taking all my fuses out and used fine sand paper to clean any corrosion I could find and lubed each point with conductive grease and reinstalled the whole board with new fuses. Checked all the wiring and it all seems to be fine and also took apart the blinker switch and installed a new blinker switch lever....so I'm now $100 spent in two new flashers (oem and cheap autozone) new fuses and a new switch lever thingy and the blinkers still don't work:(

----any help would be much appreciated since I sold my BMW's to get away from electrical problems...
