I bought a 1985 240 sedan about a month ago. It is in beautiful condition and ran perfectly for about a week. When I changed a bad headlight bulb, the car turned over slowly, barely started, then died after a few minutes, when the voltage dropped. I jumped it, and it died again after a few minutes when the voltage dropped. Since then, I've tested the alternator and the battery (both good), replaced the battery cables and ignition coil, and a new wiring harness is in the mail (the harness showed textbook examples of being faulty as demonstrated on Dave Barton's site). Now the car turns over like normal, but doesn't start. Hopefully the wiring harness will solve the problem, but I thought I'd reach out for advice while I'm waiting for it to arrive. Any input would be helpful, I'm new to this site.
