Art Benstein - parts to order 200

You may or may not have read my response to your comments regarding a number of things - and I know it's best to deal with one issue at a time.

Nevertheless, I have to order some brake parts from Groton and want other parts IF they can be easily/cheaply installed - solve the problem, obviously - or perhaps even installed myself.

-know that the rear harness wires are broken, which may be a huge part of the whole reverse lights issue
-I'm considering getting a new parking light sensor or switch - not sure where it goes and no food, etc. seems to be gumming stuff up. Since the warning light is on at ignition ithe bulb is fine - it just doesn't light up if I put on the emerg/pkg brake when the car is running.
-Also looking at an overdrive switch which sounds like it's behind the glove cmpt to the left. It may take a while for the auto trans to suffer, but driving it at highway speed in 3rd gear vs. 4th doesn't sound good.
-oil pressure switch since it's only $10 & hopefully easy for my mechanic to replace - won't solve warning lights but can be sure that I have one less thing to be concerned about with this "poor history" car.
-reverse light switch under gear box - can I replace this myself? More importantly, if it works, will the instr cluster warning lights be solved at that same time, or possibly not? The reverse lights are no big deal to me unless they will help the warning lights.

Thanks! - have a good week....Skokie guy
