Hi folks,

I have the opportunity to buy a 1991 245 with M47 manual transmission. The owner parked it a while ago after it mysteriously 'lost power.' He checked the basic ignition components, compression, and timing, and found nothing wrong. He's selling it for $450. It has new tires and nice wheels, and a nice body.

I am thinking that there's something amiss with the AMM, grounds, ignition amp, or possibly fuel pump. Maybe even just a clogged cat. I'm going to look at it tomorrow.

Please advise me on what I should check and how I should evaluate this prospective purchase. Thanks!
