support bearing squeeking..... 200

I don't know if this is possible, but hearing suddenly squeak-squeak-squeak the other day, I parked the '88 240 until this afternoon. Rolled under the driveshaft with a needle greasegun fitting. After prodding carefully I thought some grease disappeared into the bearing.

Backed out, two more squeaks, and then nothing but a little raspyness, around the block and I guess I'll squirt a little more.

Is This possible or am I just imagining things? There is no washer behind the bearing? Is there?
