The hatch lock linkage on my s.w. comes loose every 6 months. Usually I lose the auto-lock function first, then the key function is next and lastly the latch itself. It is just a matter of the spring clips that hold the linkage pieces together come loose. It is easy enough to fix, but I can't figure out why it doesn't stay fixed. I pinch the "ears" on the spring clips to retighten them before installation. I've lubed everything up the facilitate parts sliding. Once put back together everything looks pretty good.

Does anyone have some insight how to make this annoyance go away? Thanks, jdl
