GRRR, Stripped and spinning rear wheel stud 200

92 245 with ABS. One of the 5 right rear wheel studs is spinning freely in the end of the axle. It appears the tire shop that put new rubber on the car for me cross threaded the lug nut onto the stud. The nut came about half way off the stud before the stud broke loose.

I'm thinking I'll cut a slot in the nut with a small die grinder and then use an air chisel to split it the rest of the way off... any thoughts?

Also, once I have the wheel and rotor off, do I have to pull the E-brake shoe assembly to replace the dead stud?

Any recommendations on a source for new studs? I'm thinking about replacing all of them.

Thanks in advance!

ps. I believe this might be a real PITA
