really high idle when put in park 900

1991 940 Turbo. 185K miles.

So i was driving on the expressway for a good 30 miles. When i got off, i noticed some lack of power, a mis perhaps? Then i went to park my car, and when i put it in park, the idle shot up to like 1700rpm. I put it in drive, normal idle. Back to park, high idle....

Any clues?
