1990 240: swapping from automatic to manual transmission 200 1990

Hi all,

I've got a '90 240 wagon that I love. 220K, runs great, doesn't burn a drop of oil. But the AW71 feels tired.

I've considered doing a swap to a manual transmission. In reading the threads here, I'm a little confused. To do a swap, I would need:

- an M47 tranny (or M46?);
- the proper flywheel;
- pedal cluster;
- crossmember;
- different driveshaft?
- bell housing from a manual car? I've seen threads where people speak of having to modify their bell housing to accommodate the crank speed sensor.

Do I have my head around this?
