Please pardon if this post is redundant. I posted a question earlier this a.m. and it doesn't show up anywhere.
Wife and I are going looking at a 93 940 turbo wagon with appx 165K on the clock today. I know less than nothing about them except for what I read on the 740/040 FAQ yesterday afternoon.
Are there any obvious known deal breaker problems I should look for? Any real "grab that before someone else does" qualities I can look for.
I do all my own work and have for longer than I even want to talk about. You would think I'd be a lot better mechanic. But I only fix what breaks (and the obvious belts and fluids) items), and have been blessed so far in my Volvo adventures.
Are 960's really that labor intensive? We saw a very clean 97 24 valve yesterday,
but herself wants a wagon.
Anything I can learn before I hand over the money would be greatly appreciated.
