Jetronic 3.1 2.4 and turbo's 200

I've tried finding information on Google about LH3.1 without much luck. My previous Volv's had 2.2 and 2.4 ; after that I'm not to familiar. I wondered if someone could explain the differences between LH 2.4 and 3.1. Also, in the future I plan to make my 245 a turbo and also was curious if a 2.4 ecu and ezk off a turbo car will plug in in place of the 3.1 components.
