Lower A Arm Bushing (Rear of A arm) replacing. 200 1989

Hello all,
I've been a hearing a thumping near the driver side front end,
especially when it is cold out, like this am.
I thought it was a rocker arm or the ball joint. I lifted the
car this afternoon and everything seemed tight. I took her into
my neighborhood shop and they determined that it is the
Lower A Arm Bushing (Rear of A arm). Item "G" in the attached
page

http://www.ipdusa.com/Volvo-200/Suspension-&-Steering/Individual-Replacement-Bushings/p-69-265-1590/

They want $102 for labor and $90 for a bushing that I can get at IPD for $5,
plus an alignment at $40. I would rather get the bushing at IPD install it myself and pay another shop $150.00 for a lifetime alignment.

How difficult or dangerous would it be to replace the bushing myself?

Thanks in advance,
Joseph Segura in New Mexico.
