I noticed a connector not plugged into my 90 745 turbo. It is on the lower front left of the engine below the alternator area of the engine. There does not seem to be anything for it to plug into. My '89 744 turbo does not have the connector so I assume it may be for a different market/engine and is not used. I am curious, though.

It is circled in blue:
