Subject says it all. I need new front brake calipers.
On my driver's side, the nipple on the caliper broke off, so couldn't bleed brakes well. So I had spongey brakes, and could'nt build enough pressure for brake lights to work consisently.
So I got the terrific idea of using an easy out to remove the remaining nipple and put in a new. all was good until the easy-out broke into the caliper. With the hardened steel of the easy-out, and size od screw. I cannot get it out, and thus caliper is done. (I took it to a shop to try and get it out, they couldn't get it without ruining caliper)
So, While I am needind to replace, is there another caliper that might work that is better than stock? maybe a better caliper/rotor combo? when you got 80 hp roaring under the hood, you need lotsa brake power!
Any ideas?
Thanks
