745 sway bar (minimal) upgrade worth it? 700 1990

Bone stock 1990 745 with 14" wheels. Has 21mm front sway bar and no rear. A friend is parting out his 1993 945 which has 23mm front/17mm rear sways. Is it worth putting the 23/17 combo on my 745? The 14" wheels have nearly new tires so I'm keeping them at least until time for new rubber.
