water-logged fuel pump relay-and then... 200 1988

With help from this forum, I just experienced the fuel pump relay filled with water phase of owning a 240.FCP provided a replacement. After which I tried starting her up-crank- crank pop-burp-fart crank-crank and ended up flooding the engine.I pulled the wet spark plugs, replaced them with new.Tried starting-no go- give it a little throttle it pops to life but won't stay running. I flick the gas pedal and it will run at above 3k rpms. Not run well, but it runs.Absolutely no idle. The fuel pump must be working, right? Or it wouldnt run at all. I find no vac hoses off their ports. Fuses 4&6 are good. Where should I kick it? Thanks to all that make this forum be!
