I am sad to see this car go - it's been wonderful. But financial demands of a new family mean extras have to go. I'll be changing horses again to an 80s vintage brick.
Okay gents, I dropped the asking price on my fantastic 1977 West-Coast 242 currently garaged in Northern Virginia. It’s yellow, it’s in the classifieds, it’s 100% all original (except it has hub caps over the steelies – I do have the original center caps) and I want to find a suitable home for it. $4000 firm is my price, and it has only 73,000 miles. I’ve worked out most of the “bugs” – now it’s time for a new owner. It has no rust, and as I’ve told many others it will probably drive to Patagonia.
I’ve put a new cap, rotor, plugs, drive belts, timing belt, water pump, hoses, cat-back exhaust, just about the works on this thing, all new fluids to include gear oil. It has newer tires, and recently had the brakes flushed and new brake lines on the front end. It’s 4-speed manual with a well-tuned K-Jet fuel injection system. I was asking $5500. It’s now $4000 firm in order to move it.
Pics are here – this was in February, when I had it detailed. I’ll have a interior/exterior wash done before it leaves my hands, and a full tank of gas. I’ll even let you keep the tags on it until you get it home, and then mail them back to me.
