Hi All, A couple of months ago I posted a question about an occasional stalling problem I have with my '91 940SE. The difference between then and now is that I know how to make it happen, so I'm reposting. In a nutshell, the only time it'll happen is if I accelerate from idle (such as at a stoplight) up through say 2K rpm, and then take my foot off the pedal completely, tach will drop below 500 rpm it'll stall. If I'm fast enough and see the drop or the check engine light coming on, I can reopen the throttle and prevent the stall. Due to work, I haven't been able to try to fix it yet, but my current thinking is maybe the IAC is sticking and not opening fast enough to respond to the sudden closing of the throttle plate under load. (btw - it idles perfectly). Does this seem familiar to anyone?
thx, Bill
