a/c 200 1989

1989 245 wagon-great shape-compressor going out-leaking-squealing. Hoses look great shape, but will see when installation is done. Bought a NEW (NOT REMAN OR REFURB!) compressor-$285, new drier- $45, new expansion valve-$35 online-free shipping -1 year warranty with free return shipping if needed. Im sure there may have been better prices but i went with this one after finding reviews-found a lot-said they were very good to excellent. Anyway-got the "stuff", Did not come with "O" rings. Will have my mechanic change all the parts--$100 flat labor. Then on to get it fully evacuated and charged up. (OH-it doesn't have any freon in it.) I will get it converted to 134a-compressor is compatable. Any thoughts before I get it charged?> ($120 + "gas" and O rings and whatever else it might need, if anything)
