Brake bleeding question: is Bentley right or is the FAQ right? 200

Hi all,

Trying to complete a brake job on an '83 245. New master cylinder (bench bled), new pads, new vented rotors (to replace the solid rotors), new calipers (sized for the vented rotors).

All new parts are in place. We've been trying to bleed it using a Mighty Vac, and we're getting no pedal at all.

Bentley's bleed order is: LR, LF top, RR, RF top, LF two bottom bleeders, RF two bottom bleeders.

However, FAQ says "On Volvo models with 3 bleeder screws on the front calipers, open all bleeder screws simultaneously." Open all simultaneously?

What am I missing?

BTW: IMHO the Mighty Vac is a POS, and may get taken back to the parts house.
