'89 240 Dies while driving - Alternator tests good 200 1989

Thanks for looking. I'd love some help.

She dies while I'm driving. When I try to restart there is no cranking or any indication at all that I've turned the key to "start" (aside from the dash status lights turning off like normal and if the lights are on - the lights dim).

If I get a jump and charge for about 2 minutes I can run the car without trouble for a day or so.

The alternator works according to Pep boys.
Battery is 6 months old.

Any ideas??
