front end noise 900 1996

having a [ clunk clunk ] noise when coasting . had the front end checked and couldnt find anything wrong. brakes/rotors/tie rods/ball joints/rims/tires included in the check. i had a used strut assembly installed about 6 months ago and the noise is mostly coming from the side. can thatbe causing anything? or what else should i be checking.. 96 960 with 184000
