My mechanic told me I need a rear brake equalizer for my '82 Volvo 240 wagon. He also called it a proportioning valve. I thought I'd be able to find the part on IPD, but I am unable to locate anything by these names.

Is this part known as something else? I have no clue where to start looking as I don't know what this part should look like. Please help!
