i spent a good part of today trying to figure out, without success, how to get something as simple as a radio to work in my car. after giving up, i decided to go to the auto parts store because i need some fuel hose. car wouldn't start. it has been starting a little bit rough, requiring more cranks than it should. it also idles a little low on the RPM for a second or two, i step on the gas and that's the end of it. now it just turns over and doesn't fire. while playing around with the radio issue, i put the ignition in the 2 position several times. not sure if that would make a difference, but i thought i'd mention it anyway. i used to have an 850 and know that when you first put the key in the 2 position you can hear the in-tank fuel pump. i hear no pump going in the 2 position. not sure if this is a problem. help!
