Stuck jets on SU 68 Amazon 120-130

Reviving a long-dormant 122. It seems the jets are absolutely stuck in the brass ferule that they slide into. Both of them. The brass has absolutely bonded itself together somehow. I have tried everything to get these things out of there to the point of destroying the fragile plastic hose on both of them. Grrr. Any advice on how to free them? New jets are on order, but they'll be of no use until I can get the old ones out.
