Im at wits end here, and am running out of places to search. Heres my story:
Got a one-owner 1980 240 Model with Lamda Sond. Was sitting up for at least a year, so wanted to drain fuel tank. Alas, no drainplug. There wasnt a lot of fuel in tank, so put a few gallons in, with injector cleaner. Have tried to start, but got no fuelpump humm. Replaced with new fuel pump and new relay...nothing. It will crank but no firing. disconnected fuel line before filter at firewall, and by bridging #s5 and 7, was getting good fuel flow. I have 2 new fuel relays, but neither seems to be able to induce flow. It is only when I bridge that I can see fuel flow. Have changed to new fuel filter at firewall, and am thinking it may be clogged injectors IF I could only get fuel to that point. Am I missing something here? Thanks for any help.
