coil wire for regina 940 900 1994

i've encountered an odd situation with my 940. unlike most 940s mine has a side driven distributor like a 240 instead of the usual cam driven distributor. the car is completely stock. this is the way it was manufactured. the rex coil requires a specific connector unlike the typical coil. i have been unable to find this wire through ipd, fcp groton, and like such. tasca claims to have the right wire for $67.00. i'm not sure it is the right one, but the price sure isn't. i'm having a hard time paying that for a coil wire. has anybody out there run into this situation.
