I was going through the owners manual and learnt that replacement speedos (from the dealer I supose) have the one tenth digit in the trip meter in red with a white background whereas normally the digit is black with a white background. Also the door contact switches ( plunger)can be rotated clockwise a bit and in doing so disables the door warning light and the dome light..if in the door mode..supposedly this reduces drain on the battery when the door needs to be open for a while. Once the door is closed the switch reverts to normal operation. Am I the only brickster that didn't know this.?.LOL
