So, my faithful 97 v90 with 266,000 miles on it is toast. drunk driver ran me off the road and i hit two trees doing 50. First of all, thank you Volvo for saving my life- i walked away with a bruise on my knee. As for the car, she's toast. Still runs just fine but isnt worth fixing. I'd like to pull the motor out and put in my old pickup truck, and i was wondering if anyone would know how to go about doing the electronics? i have done this several times with different cars and trucks so the process of fabricating brackets and such is not new to me, but as far as wiring up an ECU and TCU with all of the sensors and stuff, what would it take?
