Our 1996 960 wagon has set the CEL-code pulled by Advance Auto Parts pointed to "Random misfire cylinders 1 and 3". Pulled the battery cable, light is out. Car has experienced no drivability problems, though gas mileage is kinda low at 15-17 mpg in town. I just replaced a bad vent hose to the PCV valve (the small one) and tightened a loose battery cable-we'll see if that helps. Any ideas out there?
