760 Turbo, Headlight Relay 700 1985

Oldest son's sedan had intermittent headlight issues for several months. He's finally spending time on tracing wires, verifying grounds, etc, and I am finally willing to help him. We noticed turbo rot on the wires leading to headlamps/turn signals under the hood and took measures to seal/tape all wiring with cracked/missing insulation. FYI, replaced complete wiring harness 4+ years ago due to same problem with wiring insulation.

We cannot find a headlamp relay in the 760 Turbo sedan. All the charts I have access to show it to be middle of the 'front' row behind the fuses.... there isn't a relay there, nor is there a connector there for the relay to plug into. Is the relay for the headlights in the turbo somewhere else?

Prior to last week (when we took measures to clean connections, insulate wires, etc.) the headlights would flash if the bright switch was pulled toward the driver. We pulled the turn signal/bright switch from my husband's '88 740 to test, and this did not remedy the problem. We've tested the headlight switch in the other cars, and it works in the '89 745 and '88 740. After messing with wires, switches, relays, and relay/fuse cluster, I keep thinking 'relay problem' I just can't find the headlight relay in the 85 760 turbo. We no longer obtain brights when pulling back on the turn signal arm.

Am I overlooking something more basic than a relay in resolving the no-headlight issue? Anyone know WHERE that blasted relay is located?
