'89 245 wagon--Got in car-started engine-turned on headlight switch-no lights except for when I pull back on the lever for brights but they go off soon as I let go of the lever. OK-we replaced switch--nothing. Replaced “silvery” metal sorta relay box on firewall under hood close to battery--nothing. Checked ground wires around washer container-nothing (no lites when I say “nothing“) but we always have brights with the lever/switch. Replaced turn signal switch-nothing. Checked fuse replaced with new one even tho old one looked good.-nothing- Checked all possible connections for loose or broken wires. . One moment lights fine-next both out. Next to check will be a relay box under the carpet front drivers side-will do that tomorrow-meanwhile-any other thoughts? Thanks.
