last night my girlfriend was driving the 780 home from work and she told me that she was having problems with it. first, the car would completely lose power. she would hit the accelerator and nothing would happen. the problem would eventually correct itself, then happen again. she also said that she heard a "whir" sound when the turbo gauge was in the yellow. this morning, when i started the car, it would idle for a couple seconds then stall out. i started it 3-4 times and it did the same thing until i decided the battery was getting too low to bother trying to start it again. i am about to check some things on the turbo-hoses, the fan to make sure it spins freely-because the turbo is sucking up oil. my guess on the stalling problem is either the throttle position switch or the knock sensor. anyone have any insight?
