Happy Newe year to everyone.
I have to fix this problem: the 30 amp fuse always burns. There is evidence of overheating on the fuse slot and at the connection to the blower motor itself.
I could get a spare motor from a junked car, the connection to the original motor impedes the removal of the motor. the twin wire seems to be very rigid. How do I test to see if the problem is with the origial motor, before going to the trouble of swapping motors. In a pinch, can I bypass the blower speed control knob/resistance array and get my power from the fuse box with a temporary on of switch and in line fuse. how do I get to the wires going to or coming from the fuse box
It is getting below freezing and I have to open a window to prevent fogging of the windshield. Thank God for heated seats.
