car has intermitten problem on starting no check engine light but does have code 232 when checked at the test block in pin 2. the vehicle sometimes will run but the exhast smells strange and the tail pipe has excess carbon. drove car today for 35 miles and no issues that I could tell while driving. performed test at test block for throttle postion switch light would blink continues, so my thinking is the throttle switch is bad. has any one run into simular problem? thanks for any help
