Hi All.
While the original heater fan motor is still running strong in my 12V-upgraded 1963 544, the squirrel cage squeaks like there's actually a squirrel in it, and it barely blows any air at all. In fact I thought it was running backward because it blows more air out the front of the duct than onto the inside of my windshield. Which makes it hard to see when I'm driving on a cold, wet morning with a steaming hot cup of tea. Anyway, after first establishing that my motor is indeed running the correct direction I've come to the conclusion that it must not have worked very well to begin with. Does anyone have any suggestions as to either upgrading to a more powerful motor or retrofitting a completely new style of fan altogether?
Thanks!
Ry
