Hi everyone.
I just purchased a 240 today and will be repairing small items on it...this will be my wife's highway commuter car. It is a '92 240 automatic with 141k on it..no rattles, no weird noises...just a nice running car.
Anyway...I was driving it and it has a broken odometer. I have already began researching the cluster removal and replacing the gear, but what confuses me it that the trip reset button is able to be pulled out completely.
What am I in for with this? I have replaced odometer gears in various cars of mine (volvos and BMWs) and never came across this issue. Do I need a junkyard cluster?
