should i use regular ring gear clamps to secure the sender pipe to the intank pump in my 92 240 200

hi sages- should i use regular ring gear(screw type) clamps to secure the submersible hose ends to the intank pump and outflow pipe? think they are stainless steel. is there anything better? oldduke
