We've moved back to Memphis and are now in the city proper so must pass annual smog inspection. To my great relief, my wife's 145,000 mile, '94 945T just passed. It's a tailpipe sniff test and the numbers are surprising to me:
For the '94 year, (which is how they qualify these things I guess)
HC (Hydrocarbons)
Standard: 220 ppm
measures: 5 ppm
CO (Carbon Monoxide)
Standard: 1.2%
Measured: 0.00%
This is a new thing to me, how are the measured numbers so low?
Next I need to run my '95 855T through.
Fingers crossed,
Erwin
