240 tail-lights hard-wiring... what do I solder to on the bulb sockets? 200 1984

So, I have one brake light and am tired of it. I got supplies to splice into the existing wiring and solder a wire directly to the brake light. The hot side on the left of the car is the big tab that feeds the bottom of the bulb.

What do I solder to? This type of metal doesn't seem like it's going to take well to having something soldered to it. Please don't tell me it's the bottom of the bulb itself...
