Symptoms in need of a diagnosis 200

My 1992 940 turbo sedan when warm [not first thing in the AM] recently started stalling immediately upon starting, like the idle is too low. But only occassionally and never or rarely the first start in the AM. And if I give it a little gas (just increase the idle RPMs a little), it doesn't stall.
Furthermore after about 30 seconds, it will idle fine without additional gas. Otherwise it runs great. It's just that first few moments after starting, and not all the time, but more and more frequently.

Thanks in advance for suggestions on where to start.
