just wanted to thank everybody for your help and endless information on the 1800e. after checking things i narrowed it down to bad fuel injectors that had been ruined by varnish from hard fuel lines. my fault. i made a stupid mistake. even after soaking in mineral spirits the needles would barely budge. but some "new" injectors and a little bit of timing adjustment and she fired right up. seems to be running great but i have a few more things to do before i can do any real driving. the goal was to have it running before my little girl was born and i was only four days off so thanks again. i look forward to many more challenges as i continue to get it back to its original glory.
