On my newly acquired '94 940 Turbo, the air conditioning is working well. And, remarkably the turbo boost/vacuum does not seem to be impeding the flow, as is the case on my 3 other 940s. However, the flow at the center vents only comes from the right hand vent. The left center vent seems to be completely blocked.
I would have expected the flow to both vents to come from the same single pipe source, but this cannot be the case. Can anyone give me a little insight into what is going on behind the dash in this location.
I have experience removing the radio, cigarette lighter tray and vent control trim. I haven't proceeded to remove the three rotary controls to gain access to the vents just above because I'm not sure that this obvious access route it the right one or permits access to any relevant control.
I would appreciate some guidance here before I take a lot of time and energy in the wrong direction. The air conditioning, even without the operation of this left center vent is fairly effective, but being somewhat compulsive, I know I'm going to loose sleep until I'm told how to fix it or I'm told it isn't worth the effort.
