A/C and sun roof problems 900 1997

Need advice on how to proceed with 2 recent problems on my 1997 960 sedan. A/C quit blowing cold and the sun roof will not retract. There is power to the sun roof as it will go into vent mode. I have no mechanical skills and would like to avoid a huge repair bill if possible.
