Hi all,
After (gulp) decades of driving and wrenching on 240s, I've discovered that the 940 is quite a fine car! I'll probably keep our '94 940 wagon for traveling, but would like to buy a second 940 and fulfill a long-standing dream: a manual tranny turbo car. I'm found a possible candidate: a '95 sedan, low mileage, with what appears to be transmission problems. I can probably buy it cheap (also needs a heater core. No biggie).
I've read the FAQ about a swap, but wanted to ask if there are any special considerations or "gotchas". Specifically: the differential. I recall reading that, with a 240 swap, you had to also swap the differential to get a gear ratio that made sense. Is this true of the 940?
