Once upon a time, in a county far, far away I used to help setup SCCA race cars. We would always use the very best rotors we could buy and the softest pads we could cheaply buy. We would replace the pads every race but the rotors would last a season.

In that same spirit on my Volvo 240 I used to use ATE power rotors AND the softest pads, usually the PBR organic. Unfortunately, my supply of PBR Organic pads have run out an it appears they are no longer manufactured.

Any suggestions? Any better combinations?
