fpr clicking , no start 200 1989

Hello , Today when i went to start my 89, 245, auto. The car would turn over but not start. with the ignition on the fpr would click for several seconds
and then stop. I could not hear the fuel pump cycle on at all any help would be apreciated . Thank You
