1989 245, 175000 miles. Car died enroute. Bad voltage regulator or alternator or wiring. Put spare alt. in and noticed could not tighten belts, adjustment screw and mount were loose and came off. Adjuster broke off the tubular mount on the block. Is there a fix available? Was going to see if local shop could weld it back into place.
Any thoughts appreciated
