I am well aware that some persons feel most any additive to ones gas or oil should not be used. The only positive feedback Ive really seen much of is to use Techron.
Other night another product was shown, a fuel additive that was advertised for diesel engines. Its supposed to stop the black smoke, as it helps burn the diesel to burn fuel much more efficiently, add power and increase mileage. Is this “bunk” similar to claims of others? I don’t know, but apparently OCC (Orange County Choppers) made a diesel motorcycle, diesel engine, for the purpose of demonstration of the additive.
The black smoke stopped, the rider could feel an increase in performance, etc. Reason to mention this? There are diesel Volvos out there, right? (Our particular Volvo is gas).
OK, so here’s the URL of Monster Diesel additive:

Decide for yourself.
If we owned a diesel brick, I would at least give it a try. (Here is where I mention I have NO affiliation with this company. Just thought it was interesting.)
Has anyone on the 'Board tried this btw?
