did something I probably shouldn't have (didn't need to). 85-245 200

As I'm in the process of getting the engine (and transmission) ready for removal, I removed the radiator and AC radiator (?).

The thing I did that I probably didn't need to/shouldn't have, was disconnect the lines to the...condenser (?).

It evacuated something, but it wasn't what I had anticipated. It could be good news, or it could be bad news, or it could be "no news".

As I disconnected the line from the condenser (?), the dye that I had added to the system last summer to check for leaks squirted all out. Nothing cold but just messy. It cleaned up easy.

This might explain why last year when I did the leak check, nothing happened.

I'm wondering, could there be a blockage in the system, and thats why the dye just built up? OR maybe I was so low on AC freon that that is all that is in the system (I don't use it).
